6 Wellness-Inspired Gifts Perfect for the Holiday Season
There’s no better gift than health.
But since we can’t gift good health yet, (Hello, science? What’s the hold-up?) the next best thing we can do is support the health of our friends and loved ones. I love gifting wellness-themed presents during the holiday season to show the important people in my life how much I care about them. Instead of another gift card, they won’t use, I try to think thoughtfully about gifts they’ll actually use and will benefit them, be it physically, mentally, or spiritually. Think sneakers for my brother that loves hiking, luxurious sunscreen for my cousin who loves the beach, and a new cookbook for my neighbor who’s going vegan.
Here are six products I’ve got my eye on for conscious well-gifting this holiday season. As always, I’m not an affiliate of these brands, I just love what they have and what they stand for, and think the HU community will as well.
Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel from Dr. Dennis Gross - I use these about twice a week and always wake up with a glow. They have really changed my skin! They do use acids, so be careful if you have sensitive skin. They’re really great for those of us with uneven skin tone or texture, enlarged pores, or fine lines and wrinkles.
2. Miracle 7-in-1 Primer Serum from Emani Vegan Cosmetics – Morning, night, or whenever I need it: Miracle Serum is always there for me. I love this product; it doesn’t dry me out or make me oily and it’s perfect to wear under my makeup. It’s well-priced and truthfully a must for everyday skincare.
3. Glasses from Zenni Optical - My eyes have progressively gotten worse over the last few years so finding stylish glasses that don’t cost a fortune has been tough. But, I’ve discovered the holy grail of affordable and designer-inspired eyewear. My secret? Zenni Optical. Their options are so on trend and they have blue light-blocking lenses to protect your eyes from harmful blue light from technology which can lead to dry and irritated eyes, blurred vision, disrupted sleep, and more. It’s a no-brainer.
4. Antiplaque & Whitening Fluoride Free Toothpaste from Hello - I know this may be a basic one, but still a good healthy stocking stuffer. It’s fluoride-free and really does leave my teeth feeling 100% fresh.
5. Supplements from Pink Stork - The secret is out and this one. I have shared it with all my girlfriends; the BEST fertility supplement on the market, in my opinion. They also have options for any woman looking for a good multivitamin and more. The packaging is on point, the quality is on point, and the cause is on point. Plus, they’re very well-priced. Highly recommend these!
6. Helix Jewelry from Maison Miru - Full disclosure: I have yet to try these, but the pricing is so good for premium jewelry made for sensitive skin, so it’s on my Christmas list this year. I love my Maria Tash earrings, but it gets a bit pricey when I want to switch them out once in a while. So, I’m excited to try these instead.
